Ohio Northern University Students Donate to Lima Memorial Pediatrics Unit

Taylor Wohlgamuth, a senior psychology major from Ohio Northern University, donated stuffed polar bears to the pediatrics unit at Lima Memorial on Thursday, February 16.
The donation was part Taylor's involvement in Mortar Board, a national honor society recognizing college seniors for their exemplary scholarship, leadership and service. Funds were raised through the Reindeer Run, a Christmas-inspired 5K on Ohio Northern's campus.
"My goal was to do something that would help put a smile on the face of children," stated Wohlgamuth. She felt the local hospitals would be a great outlet to do this. In addition to Lima Memorial, ONU polar bears will be donated to Hardin Memorial Hospital.
