Bulgaria attaches priority importance to the development of relations and cooperation with Japan, based on mutual respect, friendly ties and shared values. This was emphasized by Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov in a letter to Japan's newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
"I am confident that the traditional friendship between our two countries will enable us to expand pragmatic cooperation and utilize the full potential for joint work in all areas of mutual interest within the strategic partnership that was established this year," he added.
In his letter, the Prime Minister expresses his highest respect for Japan's newly elected Prime Minister and wishes her success in her highly responsible mission.
