DALLAS - Dallas ISD will launch the Additional Days School Year (ADSY) calendar for the 2026-2027 school year, adding 15 extra instructional days for students at 13 elementary campuses and seven middle schools. Beginning July 28, participating students will receive focused reading and math instruction, enrichment activities, Saturday sessions, and continued access to meals, transportation, and after-school programs. These extra days will enhance students' academic growth and provide additional support before the official start of the school year.

National leader set to inspire Lincoln students
Lincoln High School Humanities/Communications Magnet will host Ashley Williams, former deputy assistant to the president and senior advisor during the Biden-Harris Administration. The visit scheduled for 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 25, will feature student-focused discussions on leadership, empowerment, and resilience, including a lunch-and-learn with young women scholars.
