Repairs to West Ash Street near ARC entrance, Oct. 27-28

(COLUMBIA, MO)- Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, crews with the City of Columbia Public Works Street division will repair deteriorating concrete on West Ash Street near the entrance to the Activity & Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 W. Ash St.

Work hours will be daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews plan to excavate and pour new concrete on Monday, then allow it to cure overnight. Work will resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, with all repairs expected to be completed by 4 p.m.

If weather delays occur, work will continue Wednesday, Oct. 29.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times, though temporary lane closures will be required. Traffic control signs and flaggers will guide drivers through the work zone as needed. Sidewalks will remain open.

Drivers should expect minor delays and are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
