Treasurer's Office Closed For All-Day Staff Training

The Story County Treasurer's Office will be closed on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 to attend a regional day of training by the Iowa Department of Transportation and Iowa Department of Revenue. The office will be closed to the public and staff will not be answering phones or emails.

The laws, rules, and regulations that the Treasurer's Office must follow frequently change and evolve. This training session will help us ensure we are up to date on all law changes, while giving us the opportunity to learn best practices from our state agency partners and neighboring treasurer offices. Continuing education is a major factor in achieving our goal of operating in the most effective, accurate, and efficient manner possible. We apologize to any customers this closing may inconvenience.

Regular office hours will resume at 8 AM Friday, April 4th.
