Butts County: Detour on State Route 16 at England Chapel Rd/ High Falls

Butts County...England Chapel Rd will be closed for a roundabout project off SR 16 and England Chapel Rd/ High Falls Rd - Suggested Detour

What: Road Closure on England Chapel Rd. at SR 16 intersection. Location: Intersection of SR 16 at England Chapel/High Falls Rd.

Why: To work on the concrete cross-drainpipe and for mass grading on England Chapel Rd.

When: September 28, 2025, for a duration of 90 days.

Detour Route: Northbound traffic on England Chapel Road will head East on SR 16 and turn left onto Shiloh Road. Northbound Traffic on Shiloh Road will ride and turn left onto Walt Banks Road. Northbound Traffic will then utilize Walt Banks Road to get back on England Chapel Road to continue North. Southbound traffic on England Chapel Road will turn left onto Walt Banks Road. Southbound traffic will then turn right on Shiloh Road. Southbound traffic will then continue and turn right onto SR 16. Southbound traffic will utilize SR 16 to get back to the South side of England Chapel Rd.


ADVISORY: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
