City of Chicago Department of Law to Host Outside Counsel Open House and Interviews

WHAT: The City of Chicago Department of Law (DOL) will host a virtual informational session to engage law firms of all sizes in learning about the Department's use of outside counsel across a wide range of legal practice areas.

This year's Outside Counsel Open House & Interviews will highlight opportunities for outside counsel participation in the Department's various transactional and litigation divisions. Corporation Counsel Mary Richardson-Lowry and managing DOL attorneys will also discuss how outside counsel supports legal matters for the Department's divisions, which includes collections, real estate, revenue litigation, employment litigation, torts, federal civil rights, labor, and more.

Firms interested in attending must complete their registration to join the virtual Open House. Following this introductory session, attending firms will be placed in a pool of participants for the Department to contact for any follow-up interviews. Qualifying firms must attend the virtual Open House in order to be entered into this pool.
