CU-Bloomsburg students contributed $5,000 to purchase food supplies for the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard. The supplies, which were delivered June 8, are purchased with contributions from students' unused dining account funds. Through the purchasing power of the university dining services partner Aramark, the impact of the funds has been maximized. A significant portion of these resources supports the pantry's Backpack Program, which provides children in need with food and snacks to take home over the summer months, helping bridge the gap when school meals are unavailable. Since 2021, students have contributed more than $34,000 to the Food Cupboard.

WNEP-TV covered the donation.
