Legal help available at Legal Services Resource Fair

Jackson residents looking to get legal assistance have an upcoming opportunity. The City of Jackson Human Relations Commission is hosting a Legal Services Resource Fair on Saturday, April 26. It's happening from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the American 1 Event Center, 128 W. Ganson St.

The resource fair will feature vendors, speakers, and a panel. Judge Robert K. Gaecke, Attorney George D. Lyons, Michigan Legal Help, Jackson Legal Aid, Southeastern Michigan Dispute Resolution Services, and Next Steps Law Firm are all participating in the event.

Fair attendees will learn about community resources for legal help, guardianship, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans, along with other important legal-related topics. The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided.
