Statement from the Desk of Commissioner Ron Smith
To remain transparent, I would like to inform the public that I am on vacation. I have yet to take time away from the office since being sworn in as Josephine County Commissioner. To follow the practice of my fellow and previous board members when they took time away from the office, I notified staff of my time away, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and staff subsequently informed the remaining board member that same day. I will be returning on January 29, 2026. Thank you for your understanding.
