HUGE MILESTONE: Vindman’s Office Returns $5.1 Million in Backlogged Dollars to Constituents

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Eugene Vindman (Va.-07) today announced that his office has now returned more than $5 million in federal casework funds to residents of Virginia's Seventh District, solving more than 560 constituent cases.

Since taking office in January 2025, Team Vindman has closed more than 560 constituent cases, he has personally attended 202 events in the Seventh District, and proudly returned a total of over $5 million to Virginians.

"Since Day 1, my dedicated constituent services team and I have been here to serve. We have helped return more than $5 million in backlogged benefits to folks across the Seventh District - from Social Security checks and veterans' benefits to Medicare payments and tax refunds," said Vindman. "Virginians deserve a government that works for them - and that means ensuring federal agencies follow through on their responsibilities. Casework dollars are secured and returned by fighting for fair treatment for those having issues with a federal agency, program, or benefit. Vindman's office assists Virginians with many casework concerns - including backlogged Social Security checks, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits, Medicare benefits, and delayed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) refunds.
