State Representative Kevin Ritter Receives Golden Apple Award
State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marrietta) is pleased to share that he was recently awarded the Golden Apple Award, presented by the Ohio Parents for Education Freedom (OHPFEF).
"It was truly my honor to accept the 2026 Golden Apple Award for 'outstanding support of education freedom' from the Ohio Parents for Education Freedom," said Ritter. "I firmly believe that parents have the authority to determine how their child is educated and good government ought to guard this freedom."
The Golden Apple Award is a prestigious, annual honor recognizing exceptional K-12 educators for excellence in teaching, leadership, and school community. OHPFEF presented this award to Rep. Ritter at their annual Online Learning Day event held at the Ohio Statehouse.
The Ohio Parents for Education Freedom is a non-profit organization representing students, parents, teachers and others who believe in empowering families to enroll their kids in innovative public schools.
