On Knowledge Day, PJSC EL5-Energo awarded corporate scholarships to the students and teachers of Yekaterinburg Power Engineering College

On September 1, the representatives of PJSC EL5-Energo traditionally awarded corporate scholarship certificates to the students of Yekaterinburg Power Engineering College. The scholarship programme is implemented within the memoranda of cooperation for the development of the company's academic and cultural ties.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, scholarships were awarded to teachers Olga Reutova and Valery Pakhtusov, as well as students Evgeny Shirobokov, a fourth-year student majoring in Thermal Power Plants; Alexander Popov, a fourth-year student majoring in Relay Protection and Automation of Electric Power Systems; and Maria Nikiforova, a third-year student majoring in Environmental Safety of Natural Complexes. Last year, Maria won the "The Space You've Dreamed of: Time to Act" corporate project competition. The coworking space concept developed by the student was implemented at Yekaterinburg Power Engineering College supported by PJSC EL5-Energo.

The main criteria for selecting scholarship winners among the students were academic performance, broad outlook, and social activity and those among the teachers were the degree of responsibility, level of involvement in the educational process and expanded scientific activity.

EL5-Energo cooperates continuously with the leading specialized institutions in the regions where it operates. The Company supports gifted students by providing not only scholarships but also with opportunities for internships, participation in the company's research projects and for making a deep dive into energy facilities.
