Comedian John Mulaney to Bring ‘Mister Whatever’ Tour to Emens Auditorium, March 1

Ball State University will present award-winning comedian, writer, and actor John Mulaney at Emens Auditorium at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2026, as part of his national tour, Mister Whatever.

A three-time Emmy Award, Critics' Choice Award, and Writers Guild of America Award winner, Mr. Mulaney is known for his sharp wit, relatable storytelling, and acclaimed television and stand-up work. He currently hosts the live Netflix talk show EVERYBODY'S IN LIVE WITH JOHN MULANEY, which airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
Mr. Mulaney's latest Netflix special, BABY J (April 2023), transforms personal turmoil into comedic brilliance. The special earned 2023 Emmy nominations for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) and Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special-winning the latter-and received the 2024 Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy Special.
A seasoned performer, Mr. Mulaney continues to sell out major venues across North America, from Madison Square Garden to the Hollywood Bowl. He last appeared at Emens Auditorium during his 2023 tour featuring Pete Davidson.
