Weather Related Parking Ban in Effect: February 22, 2026

Effective Sunday, February 22 at 7:30 a.m., all on-street parking is banned on any streets outside the downtown area until further notice. Vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed.

Due to the significant snowfall earlier this week, snow clearing operations remain ongoing throughout the city. Heavy accumulation and narrowed streets have limited access in many areas, and vehicles parked on-street are further restricting the ability of plows and other equipment to effectively clear roadways.

With additional snowfall expected this evening, a parking ban is necessary to ensure crews have the space they need to continue clearing operations and address the added accumulation.

The parking ban will provide clear access for snow clearing equipment so streets can be made safe and passable as quickly as possible. We appreciate residents' cooperation and patience.
