Ascension Saint Agnes brought health screenings, wellness activities, groceries and community resources to Baltimore residents during its Fall Health Fair on Monday, Sept. 21, at Park Heights Academy.
In collaboration with Maryland Physicians Care and Catherine's Family & Youth Services, the event welcomed 363 community members and helped connect residents with health and wellness resources in a neighborhood setting.
Services and activities provided included 110 blood pressure screenings and 50 engagements with the Diabetes Education team, along with groceries and live chef demonstrations.
The health fair served to connect families with resources designed to support their health while helping make those services more accessible across the community.
"The Fall Health Fair reflects Ascension Saint Agnes' continued commitment to meeting community members where they are," said Lesley Wallace, Vice President of Population Health at Ascension Saint Agnes. "We hope to connect families with resources that support their health."
The event is part of Ascension Saint Agnes' broader efforts to engage with communities across the Baltimore area through health education, screenings, and connections to care.
