On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Fort Worth City Council will conduct their regularly scheduled Council meeting at 10 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail.

Agenda items of note

  • Purchase of more than 48 acres of open space in East Fort Worth for long-term conservation and public benefit.
  • Approval of rehabilitation work for three Historic & Cultural Landmark properties in Fairmount and Mistletoe Heights.
  • Acquisition of easements to support major Southside II Water Main transmission improvements.
  • Resolution to physically close portions of Farnsworth Avenue due to repeated flooding and safety concerns.
  • Funding for May 2025 General Election and June Runoff Election administrative costs.
  • Multiple large-scale resurfacing and pavement rehabilitation projects across various Council districts.
  • $47 million construction contract for the Avondale Haslet-Willow Creek to John Day Road project
  • Amendments supporting the Horne Street Reconstruction Project, bringing total project cost to $16.6 million.
  • Engineering work for stormwater relocations tied to the Central City Grand Avenue projects.
  • Funding increases for after-school programming across several local school districts and community partners.
  • Grant extensions for Crime Control and Prevention District partner organizations.
  • FY26 contracts with Como Lions Heart and Tarrant County Homeless Coalition for crime prevention programming.
  • Contract for Real-Time Crime Center data integration software for the Fort Worth Police Department.
  • Engineering services for runway and taxiway improvements at Meacham International Airport.

  • Resolution casting allotted votes for the Wise County Appraisal District Board of Directors and for the Denton Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.
