On May 5, on the sidelines of the Yerevan Dialogue international forum, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Mr. Titus Corlățean, the President of the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Senate of Romania.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the Armenia-Romania bilateral agenda, emphasizing the further expansion of political dialogue and parliamentary cooperation. The possibility of deepening sectoral cooperation was discussed, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, energy, and IT.
The interlocutors also discussed the strategic agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership, touched upon the first Armenia-EU summit held on May 5 and its results. Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation within the EU framework and the implementation of joint programs.
The meeting also touched upon international and regional developments.
