St. Louis Work Zones August 27-September 2

ST. LOUIS - Drivers using Interstate 70 in Wentzville should be aware of several continuing overnight closures that will impact them over the next week.

Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will continue to close all westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at the I-70/I-64/U.S. 61 interchange overnight through August 28. Crews will be doing work on the existing bridge girders. All work is weather permitting.

All westbound lanes of I-70 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, August 28. Detours will be in place for westbound I-70 and southbound U.S. Route 61:

  • Westbound I-70 will be reduced to one lane and detour to northbound Route 61, (exit number 210B), turn around at Pittman Avenue, and use the westbound I-70 ramp to access westbound I-70.
  • Westbound I-70 traffic exiting to eastbound I-64 will detour exiting to northbound Route 61, (exit number 210B), turn around at Pitman Avenue, and use the eastbound I-64 ramp from Luetkenhaus Boulevard.

All work is weather permitting.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, westbound express lanes and Broadway exit closed.
  • I-70, St. Louis City, westbound Broadway entrance ramp closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, on-ramp from Riverview Drive to westbound I-270 closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, the exit ramp closed from eastbound I-270 to Riverview through 4 p.m. Saturday.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound and southbound Route 67 loop ramps to Route D closed. Route D westbound and eastbound loop ramps to Route 67 closed.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Route D.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound from the Missouri River to just north of Route 94 through late 2027.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one eastbound and westbound lane closed from Mason
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one eastbound and westbound lane closed from Weidman Rd. to Manchester Meadows through late 2026.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, one eastbound and westbound lane closed between Watson Industrial to Pardee, through the end of 2026.
  • Route D, St. Louis County, one lane closed west of Woodson through October.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Signal Hill Dr. to Bernhardt Ave.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the eastbound I-70 on ramp from David Hoekel Parkway closed through late August.
  • Route 94, St. Charles County, one left-turn lane for the on-ramp to the eastbound 370 closed through late 2027.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, two westbound lanes moved to the eastbound Discovery Bridge across the Missouri River. Two eastbound lanes shifted to the right. Temporary barrier to divide eastbound and westbound lanes.
  • Veterans Memorial Parkway, St. Charles County, closed between Callahan Rd. to Corporate Parkway.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, one northbound and southbound lane closed from Meramec Bottom to Route 141.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, the southbound on and off ramps connecting to Route Z closed.
  • Route 61/67, Jefferson County, one lane closed northbound and southbound from Brandon Wallace Way to 6th/8th Street through summer 2027.
  • Route Z, Jefferson County, all interior lanes closed under I-55. One lane in each direction is open.
