Shepherd University to Host Inaugural Inspiring Excellence Dinner Supporting Female Student-Athletes

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - On Thursday, February 5, 2026, Shepherd University will host the inaugural Inspiring Excellence Dinner,celebrating the next generation of female student-athletes. The event will raise funds for scholarships benefiting women's athletics while honoring student-athletes for their leadership, achievement, and service.

The evening will feature a seated dinner and program highlighting the accomplishments and future of Shepherd women's sports, including the presentation of a special award. Guests will also hear from a keynote speaker who will share insights on leadership, perseverance, and the importance of investing in women's athletics.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Shepherd coaches and student-athletes and hear firsthand how scholarships and community support have shaped students' academic and athletic experiences.
