The ISBA announces 2025-2026 election results

The voting period for the 2025-2026 ISBA fiscal year elections has concluded, and the results for The Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) and ISBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) officers, as well as ABA delegates, are now available.

The ISBA is pleased to announce that Stephanie Hinz of Cedar Rapids has been elected as president-elect, and Alan Olson of Des Moines has been elected vice president for the 2025-2026 ISBA fiscal year. Bridget Penick of Des Moines has been elected to serve as an ISBA delegate to the ABA. The ISBA YLD has elected Peter Johnson of Sidney as its secretary.

According to the association by-laws, Kathy Law of Des Moines will automatically become ISBA president at the annual meeting in June, and Manuel Cornell of Des Moines and Aaron Jones of Des Moines will become ISBA YLD president and president-elect, respectively.

The ISBA wishes to congratulate the successful candidates and thank all the members who took the time to participate in the elections.
