With the FY27 licensing rates now under review, this is a reminder that Sept. 1 is the deadline to notify IT Services of any non-renewals or reductions to your department's distributed software licenses.
With the FY27 licensing rates now under review, this is a reminder that Sept. 1 is the deadline to notify IT Services of any non-renewals or reductions to your department's distributed software licenses, including:
For preliminary FY27 rate information by license type, see the Current Software and Rates section of the Distributed Software Rates article. These rates are preliminaryand subject to approval by UAA leadership.
All distributed software licenses auto-renew unless IT is notified by the deadline. Any license still active after Sept. 1 will be billed for the full FY27 annual cost, even if it is deactivated later in the year.
Please submit a request by Sept. 1 COB if your department needs to:
IT Services is moving away from billing distributed software licenses to restricted funds. If your department's current licenses are charged to a restricted fund, you must provide an unrestricted fund/org to continue billing to for FY27. Departments that do not provide an updated unrestricted fund/org by the deadline may have affected licenses placed on hold or cancelled.
