Multiple road closures on Dallas Pkwy., Sept. 28 & 29

(September 26, 2025) Multiple locations along Dallas Pkwy. will be closed on Sunday night, September 28 through Monday, September 29 (weather permitting). These closures are part of the Dallas Pkwy. widening project and will happen in three sections described below.

Sunday, 9/28, 8 to 11 p.m.: SB Dallas Pkwy - Cotton Gin Rd. to Railroad Tracks Map (PDF)

  • The southbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage will be closed to all traffic between Cotton Gin Road and the railroad tracks. All southbound traffic on Dallas Pkwy. will be directed to turn right onto Stonebrook Pkwy. and should use Legacy Dr. and Stonebrook Pkwy. to go around the closure. Detour signs will be posted.

Sunday, 9/28, 9 p.m. to Monday, 9/29, 12 a.m.: NB Dallas Pkwy - Lebanon Rd. to Stonebrook Pkwy. Map (PDF)

  • The northbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road will be closed to all traffic between Lebanon Rd. and Stonebrook Pkwy. All northbound traffic on Dallas Pkwy. will be directed to turn right onto Lebanon Rd. and should use Parkwood Blvd. and Stonebrook Pkwy. to go around the closure. Detour signs will be posted.
  • The northbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) Exit Ramp to Stonebrook Pkwy. will also be closed. Northbound traffic on the DNT wishing to exit to Stonebrook Pkwy. should exit at the Lebanon Rd. ramp then follow the detour described above.

Sunday, 9/28, 11 p.m. to Monday, 9/29, 3 a.m.: NB Dallas Pkwy - DNT Exit Ramp. to Eldorado Pkwy. Map (PDF)

  • The northbound DNT Exit ramp to Eldorado Pkwy. will be closed. Northbound traffic on the DNT wishing to exit to Eldorado Pkwy. should exit at the Cotton Gin Rd. ramp.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone and to seek an alternate route in advance. Drivers can also use the Waze app to navigate around road closures. Learn more about Waze or install it on your smartphone.
