Drazan scrubbed campaign materials in desperate attempt to paper over MAGA agenda
Portland, OR - A new report from the Oregonian highlighted extremist Christine Drazan's desperate efforts to hide her record of support for Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda. Drazan was caught trying to paper over her record as a far-right extremist legislator, going as far as removing the word "conservative" and opposition to common sense gun safety legislation from her campaign website and voter pamphlet.
The article points out the discrepancy between Drazan's new messaging and her legislative record, noting that "As House Minority Leader, Drazan vehemently opposed… policies backed by Democrats, leading boycotts to impede their efforts" and pointing out that it's in direct conflict with her "reputation in Salem as a combative, partisan legislator."
"This is a desperate, last-minute play by Drazan to hide her extremist, far-right record from voters ahead of Election Day," said Democratic Party of Oregon Chair Nathan Soltz. "Unfortunately for Drazan, the facts are on our side, and Oregon voters can see that she's been lock-step with Donald Trump and his MAGA agenda her entire career."
