The management board of MEYER WERFT GmbH, consisting of Bernd Eikens and Ralf Schmitz, is being expanded to include two additional positions: The supervisory board of Meyer Werft GmbH has appointed Melanie Freytag and Jörg Heidelberg to the management board.
This reinforcement will set the course for the consistent continuation of the restructuring measures in the coming years and ensure that the company is well positioned for the future.
Melanie Freytag will join the management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on November 1, 2025. She will take over this area of responsibility from Ralf Schmitz, who will focus entirely on his role as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) within the management team in the future. Jörg Heidelberg will be appointed to the management team in his role as Chief Operating Officer on January 1, 2026.
