First Day Hike, Brown County State Park
Join Brown County State Park for our New Year's Day Hike. We meet at 11am on January 1st at the Olympic Pool parking area for an out and back hike on the Salt Creek Trail. This trail is paved and considered easy assuming no snow or ice. The beginning is over a lawn, then the trail itself is a paved lane with mild slopes. The route is two miles total. Hot chocolate will be provided at the trailhead for the return. Learn about the Salt Creek Trail and the history of the bridges over Salt Creek!
