Annapolis City Government Offices to Close January 20
in Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

ANNAPOLIS, MD (January 13, 2025) - Mayor Gavin Buckley reminds residents that Annapolis City government offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"Dr. King taught us that service to others is the highest form of leadership and love," said Mayor Buckley. "On this day, let us honor his legacy by coming together as a community, lifting each other up, and committing ourselves to acts of kindness and service. Together, and with intention, we can build the inclusive and compassionate world Dr. King dreamed of."

BUS SERVICE: Annapolis Transit will operate on a Sunday Service Schedule. The State Shuttle will operate 6:40 a.m. to 10 p.m. The downtown "Magenta" shuttle will operate on its regular schedule, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information on transit schedules, visit https://www.annapolis.gov/185/Bus-Routes-Schedules .

REFUSE AND RECYCLING: Curbside recycling and refuse collection will not be affected.

ANNAPOLIS RECREATION AND PARKS: Stanton Center: Closed. Pip Moyer Recreation Center (PMRC): Open with regular hours, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
