UW-Stevens Point to host John Muir traveling exhibit


An exhibit commemorating the centennial of the National Park Service and the life of Wisconsin conservationist John Muir will be displayed at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Feb. 11 - March 13.

The Wisconsin Historical Society is bringing its traveling History Makers Tour to campus with Wisconsin's John Muir celebration of the centennial of the National Park Service. The exhibit will be on display in the Collins Classroom Center (CCC) lobby, 1801 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. An opening reception will held in the CCC lobby on Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 3-4 p.m., with feature remarks from Brett Barker, professor of history. Light refreshments will be provided.
