Discontinuation of Banner 8 Web4U support by Ellucian set for Sept. 30

Ellucian, the vendor of Western's Banner system, has announced that maintenance support for Banner 8 Web4U will end on Sept. 30.
Over the past 18 months, Western has been actively transitioning B8Web4U functionality to Banner 9 Web4U. Many of you are already using B9Web4U for key services, including the Student Portal, Finance journal voucher and approval, Student Accounts, Payroll Time Entry, and approval. While a few programming tasks are still in progress, the majority of functionality is now available in B9Web4U.
This notice is for informational purposes only - no action is required on your part. Beginning Oct. 1, the Web4U link in myWestern will automatically redirect you to the appropriate applications.
