Doing the little things can cause ‘a political earthquake’ on May 7th

In his message to mark St David's Day, Plaid Cymru leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth, has called on the people of Wales to take inspiration from St David's belief in 'doing the little things' by voting for Plaid Cymru in May's Senedd election.

Rhun ap Iorwerth said that Wales' potential is so often held back by Westminster and that Wales is waiting for the "right Government with the right policies" to unlock it.

He went on to say that voting for Plaid Cymru would help build a "fairer, better, more prosperous" Wales.

Plaid Cymru leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth, said:

"When looking back at Wales' history, I am proud of many things we as a nation have achieved. Our rich history, from industry, science and innovation, to culture, song and sport, inspire me to look to the future, to imagine what is yet to come.

"We are a nation full of potential. I see it day after day in our communities, in shops and cafes, in businesses and cultural centres, on our high streets and in our countryside.

"That potential - held back by Westminster for too long - is ready to be unlocked by the right Government, with the right policies, and the determination needed to drive forward change.

"By taking inspiration from St David himself, I'm asking the people of Wales to heed his belief in the power of 'doing the little things', in order to help Wales achieve the prosperous future that I know we can reach.

"The little things can often have the biggest impacts. By simply marking an X in the Plaid Cymru box on the 7th of May, you can cause a political earthquake here in Wales.

"By doing the little things and casting your vote for Plaid Cymru, you can help to start building a fairer, better, more prosperous future for communities the length and breadth of Wales.

"On May 7th, you can help us stop those who would see Wales retreat, and you can help build a brighter future for our nation."
