What you are looking forward to in 1L year?

I am excited to meet new people and explore Lexington, especially the nearby nature trails. As for classes, I am looking forward to Contracts. During the virtual admitted students session, there was a mock Contracts class, and I enjoyed the discussion and examining the validity of a contract.

Hobby/Interest?

I love crocheting, painting, and long nature walks!

Why W&L Law?

The small class sizes and stunning views in Lexington are what first piqued my interest in W&L Law, but the welcoming environment is what sealed the deal. Although I was only able to attend the virtual admitted students session, the excitement from the panel was contagious. Everyone has been so kind and supportive, and the opportunities available through the law school made it clear that W&L Law was the perfect choice for me.

What is the most adventurous thing you have done?

The most adventurous thing I have done is my annual cold plunge in Lake Michigan around early March. By that time, parts of the lake have typically melted, and the water temperature is anywhere between 30 and 40 degrees. It is painfully freezing but equally revitalizing.

Something you hope to continue to pursue in law school that brings you joy?

I am hoping I can still spend a few late nights using my telescope and stargazing, especially during a full moon.

Something unique about you?

I am obsessed with the holidays, especially Christmas. My fiancé, Troy, and I love to go all out with decorations as early as November 1st, and we tend to leave them up into the late winter.
