DALLAS - In honor of International Translation Day tomorrow, Sept. 30, Dallas ISD is celebrating the team members who help bridge language barriers across the district. Serving a community where more than 80 languages are spoken, Dallas ISD's Translation Services operates the largest school-based translation and interpretation team in Texas, with 26 team members supporting 10 languages. Last school year, the department provided interpretation services to more than 20,000 families, and translated over one million words-to ensure every family can stay connected in their child's education.

High school students celebrate Hispanic heritage through dance
Students at Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy are sharing cultural heritage and boosting school spirit through Baile Con Nosotros or "Come Dance With Us" - a student-led Latin American dance group. The club provides a space for students to learn traditional Latin dance styles, including norteñas, bachata, and cumbia. Through music and movement, the group helps students embrace their heritage, connect across cultures, and feel more at home on campus.
