Upcoming: Energy resource fair

Next month, Tempe will host an energy resource fair that gives residents the chance to connect directly with the Residential Utility Consumer Office (RUCO), the state agency that advocates for residential utility customers. RUCO, alongside AZPIRG and Wildfire, will host a presentation focused on the possible rate increase coming to APS customers. Additionally, the presenting organizations, along with other local groups, will have tables with information on utility bill assistance programs, rooftop solar resources and other energy and community support services. The event will take place on Nov. 20 from 6-8 p.m. at the Westside Mutigenerational Center.
