Frederick County Launches New Constituent Services Initiative

FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick County is excited to announce a new constituent services initiative, Common Grounds, designed to foster meaningful connections between community members and County representatives. This innovative program provides an open forum for residents to learn about available County services in an informal setting.

"Common Grounds allows us to meet people where they are, making it easier for everyone to connect and access the resources they need," said County Executive Jessica Fitzwater. "By bringing County representatives directly into our communities, we're fostering genuine relationships and ensuring every voice is heard."

Common Grounds will feature meetups at various locations throughout Frederick County, offering everyone a chance to engage directly with staff. The initiative aims to empower constituents, enhance transparency, and build stronger relationships within the community.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, May 15 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Frederick 50+ Community Center
