At about 10 p.m. on July 25, Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call at the 300 block of North Providence Road.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation, officers located a second adult victim who was struck by gunfire but did not require medical attention.
On Aug 3, Lenn Dukes, 42, of Columbia, was arrested in Lincoln County on two counts of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and first-degree assault, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
We would like to thank the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office for coordinating with our Street Crimes Unit to get Dukes into custody.
