AM Best to Sponsor, Exhibit at Insurance Council of New Zealand's 2026 Conference

AM Best will sponsor and exhibit at the Insurance Council of New Zealand (ICNZ) Conference on 4 June 2026 in Aotea Centre, Auckland.

Rob Curtis, managing director and chief executive officer of AM Best's Singapore operations, and Peter Tsiakos, market development associate, AM Best, will be available at stand No. 10 to discuss the resources AM Best offers to insurance professionals, including Best's Credit Ratings, Best's Performance Assessment for Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises (DUAEs), insurance data and analysis and financial data products. Curtis has been with AM Best since 2022 and has decades of experience in Asia's insurance markets, with key roles held previously with Hong Kong's Insurance Authority and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors. Tsiakos has been with AM Best since 2025 and helps to promote AM Best's role within the insurance industry.

The 2026 ICNZ Conference is themed as "Taking on Risk: Building Resilience Together," and will put a focus on New Zealand's growing natural hazard risks with sessions on how homeowners, the government and private sector can reduce risks, strengthen resilience and ensure that insurance remains accessible and sustainable in a changing climate.
