eBay landed three honorable mentions today at Fast Company's prestigious Innovation by Design Awards for 2025, in the following categories:
All three honors were in recognition of eBay Evo, the unified brand and design system that brings enhanced consistency, usability, and visual appeal to every aspect of the eBay experience. Officially launched in 2024, eBay Evo was developed in-house by the eBay Design team through a multi-year, interdisciplinary effort. The result: a modern, adaptable eBay experience that can continually evolve to meet customers' changing needs.
To guide that evolution, the team also created the eBay Playbook, a comprehensive guide designed to empower eBay's internal teams and agency partners with over 280 pages of guidance, more than 2,700 images and videos, and interactive tools for color selection, type testing, iconography, and accessibility.
"Design is central to eBay's business equation-and with Evo, our design language, we're unifying speed and craft to build trust, spark engagement, and power growth," said Tyler Moore, senior director of design at eBay.

Honorees for the prestigious award program - now in its 14th year - were selected by a panel of leading designers, business executives, and Fast Company editors.
"The Innovation by Design Awards celebrate bold ideas and work that proves design is a true driver of business and societal progress. This year's honorees show how creative thinking can unlock new markets, build stronger organizations, and deliver meaningful impact at scale," said Fast Company Editor-in-Chief Brendan Vaughan.
