Forsyth County Parks & Recreation recently hosted the Cumming-Forsyth Miracle League at Lanierland Park for a special celebration marking the organization's 20th anniversary. See photos from the event here.
For two decades, the Cumming-Forsyth County Miracle League has created opportunities for athletes of all abilities to experience the joy of baseball in a safe, adaptive and inclusive environment. Through accessible facilities, supportive volunteers and a strong sense of community, the organization has helped ensure every player has the chance to participate, build confidence and create lasting memories.
"We're blessed to have a great relationship with the Miracle League program here in Forsyth County," said Parks & Recreation Director Kirk Franz. "It's a great component of our Therapeutic Recreation program; it's a special group of folks that we want to make sure that they have access and enjoy recreation experiences here in our parks."
