The President of the Republic awarded the Order of Glory to the President of France

The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, awarded the Order of Glory to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

The order is the highest award granted to heads of foreign states and governments, leaders of international organizations, and spiritual leaders (religious figures).

By decision of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, were awarded the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour.

The award was established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte and is the highest distinction of the Legion of Honour.
