TAMPA, Fla. (September 30, 2025) - The Tampa Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide after two people were found dead inside a residence at the 2400 block of W Texas Avenue.
At approximately 12:54 p.m., officers responded to the scene and located an adult female and an adult male, both deceased.
Based on preliminary investigation, detectives believe the man shot the woman before dying from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances that led up to the incident but early information indicates the two individuals were in a relationship.
