Visit paid to Navy Second Fleet Command in honor of the fallen heroes ahead of West Sea Defense Day


· Visit to West Sea Protection Hall at the ROK Navy Second Fleet Command in Pyeongtaek in remembrance of sacrifices ahead of West Sea Defense Day

LIG Nex1 (CEO: Shin Ick-hyun) announced on March 18 that around 70 executives and employees of the company, including new employees, visited the Republic of Korea Navy Second Fleet Command in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, for a memorial ceremony.

The memorial event was organized to reinforce employees' security awareness and sense of mission as defense industry workers ahead of West Sea Defense Day observed on the fourth Friday of March each year.

An employee of LIG Nex1 who took part in the event said, "We are indebted to the noble sacrifices of the heroes who protected the West Sea, which allow us to lead peaceful daily lives. We will do our best to safeguard national strength by carrying forward the spirit of the fallen heroes as members of a defense company contributing to the country's independent national defense."

LIG Nex1 also carries out various memorial activities every year, including the cleaning of graves in national cemeteries and providing support for veterans and patriots around the Month of Patriots and Veterans, to fulfill its social responsibility.
