Senator Marshall Releases Statement After Meeting with Kansas Adjutant General

Topeka - U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), released the following statement after meeting with Kansas Adjutant General Brigadier General Paul Schneider about the Kansas National Guard's current operation in the Middle East:

"I just met with the Kansas Adjutant General and his leadership team about the state of our National Guardsmen and their current operations in the Middle East," said Senator Marshall. "Prior to Operation Epic Fury, the Kansas National Guard was deployed to the Middle East late last year. I have faith in our men and women in the Kansas National Guard and the leadership overseeing this operation. Our prayers are for their protection and their safe return home. We also pray for the entire United States Military, may God bless our troops and their families-may this conflict be resolved quickly."
