Hackster launches Journey Around Japan developer engagement program

Six-month experience combines technical learning, hands-on challenges and cultural exploration

PHOENIX - Hackster.io, an Avnet community, in collaboration with Renesas, has launched Journey Around Japan, a six-month developer engagement program designed to help engineers expand their knowledge of Renesas technologies through interactive learning experiences inspired by regions across Japan.

Hosted by the Hackster community, the program combines technical education, hands-on activities and community engagement to help developers build practical skills while virtually exploring some of Japan's most iconic destinations. Over six months, participants will complete challenges, quizzes, virtual labs and other interactive experiences focused on the Renesas ecosystem.

Throughout the program, participants will engage with technologies and resources from across the Renesas portfolio, including Renesas 365, cloud-based development environments, semiconductor solutions and development tools. Monthly activities are designed to help engineers deepen their technical knowledge while earning rewards and prizes along the way.

Each month highlights a different region of Japan, featuring notable landmarks, traditions, cuisine and cultural experiences that serve as the backdrop for engineering challenges and learning activities.

More than a traditional training initiative, Journey Around Japan is designed to encourage curiosity, experimentation and continuous learning while helping developers discover new technologies and development approaches.
