Loma Linda University named a ‘2025 Great College to Work For’

Loma Linda University is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to "Great Colleges to Work For," the eighth time the university has been recognized by the program. LLU also placed on the program's honor roll of institutions for the third straight year - one of only 14 institutions in the nation to receive this designation.

The Chronicle of Higher Education released the 2025 results in a special insert of its September 19 edition. The institutions achieve "Great College to Work For" recognition for excellence in specific best practices and policies. Results are reported for small, medium, and large institutions, with Loma Linda University included among the medium universities with 3,000 to 9,999 students.

The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institution questionnaire that captures employment data and workplace policies from each institution, and a survey administered to faculty, administrators, and professional support staff. The primary factor in deciding whether an institution received recognition was the employee feedback.
