Ten Oklahoma State University online programs earned national recognition in the "U.S. News and World Report" 2026 Best Online Programs rankings, including top 10 placements for online undergraduate business and Master of Business Administration programs.
The 2026 U.S. News Best Online Programs rankings evaluated more than 1,600 online bachelor's and master's degree programs, assessing factors specific to online learning such as student engagement, faculty credentials and services and technology support. Only degree-granting programs primarily delivered online by regionally accredited institutions were considered.
"These rankings reflect OSU's continued commitment to academic excellence and the dedication of our faculty and staff who support students wherever they are," said Dr. Jeanette Mendez, OSU provost and senior vice president. "Whether learning takes place on campus or online, our focus remains on providing a high-quality, student-centered educational experience."
OSU's online bachelor's degree programs ranked No. 63 nationally, the best ranking of any school in Oklahoma. The university's online bachelor's programs for veterans ranked No. 36.
The Spears School of Business continued its national momentum, with its online undergraduate business program tying for No. 9 nationally. The program remains the highest-ranked online undergraduate business program in Oklahoma.
"Earning top 10 rankings in both our online bachelor's and MBA programs is a remarkable achievement for Spears Business," said Dr. Jim Payne, dean of Spears Business. "These rankings reflect years of hard work by our faculty and staff to build exceptional programs that deliver a high-quality business education. I'm incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished and what it means for the students we serve across Oklahoma and beyond."
Spears Business also earned multiple graduate-level distinctions. The online MBA program tied for No. 10 nationally and No. 8 for veterans, making it the highest-ranked MBA program in Oklahoma. The school's broader online graduate business programs tied for No. 37 nationally.
OSU's College of Education and Human Sciences' online graduate education program tied for No. 112 nationally and ranked No. 35 among online graduate education programs for veterans.
The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology's online master's in engineering tied for No. 24 nationally, continuing its presence among the nation's top online engineering programs. CEAT's online graduate engineering programs also ranked No. 15 for veterans.
