ALHAMBRA, CA - Assemblymember Mike Fong (D-Alhambra) announced that he secured $7 million in one-time state budget funding for community projects across Assembly District 49. The investments will support youth and families, improve local parks and recreational spaces, and expand access to behavioral health and wellness services.
The $7 million in funding secured for Assembly District 49 includes:
"Bringing resources back to our communities is one of my top priorities," said Assemblymember Mike Fong. "This $7 million investment responds directly to local needs by supporting spaces where families gather, young people grow, and residents can access critical services. I'm proud to have secured this funding and will continue fighting to ensure our communities receive the resources they deserve."
Assemblymember Fong remains committed to working with community partners throughout Assembly District 49 to advocate for investments that strengthen neighborhoods and improve quality of life.

Assemblymember Mike Fong represents the 49th Assembly District, which includes the cities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, South Pasadena and Temple City, and the unincorporated areas of Pasadena and San Gabriel.
