Thriving Cities Fund offers growth capital to small businesses

Local business owners in Fort Worth are invited to attend the Brick & Mortar Forum, an information session to learn more about the Thriving Cities Fund.

The Thriving Cities Fund is a non-equity investment group from Homegrown and Flock Safety, which provides funding to high-performing brick-and-mortar businesses. The investment group focuses its funding on profitable multi-unit brick-and-mortar businesses that are actively working to expand - whether through new locations, remodels or acquisitions.

In particular, the Thriving Cities Fund is interested in places where customers or patients can walk in for a service or experience - such as restaurants, gyms, salons, spas, retail shops, co-working spaces, medical and dental practices or urgent care clinics.

Small business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the upcoming information session and Q&A, which will be held from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Chadra Mezza & Grill, 1700 South Freeway, Suite 100.

Additionally, the event is also open to those who support brick-and-mortar businesses, such as brokers in the real estate community, contractors, designers, etc.

Interested attendees can register to attend online.

A translator will be available for Spanish-speaking small business owners, and the event will be translated live using headsets.

The event will be hosted by the City of Fort Worth, District 3 Councilmember Michael Crain, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
