FREIGHTCAR AMERICA, INC. ANNOUNCES ITS 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND RECORD DATE

CHICAGO, IL, March 4, 2026 - FreightCar America, Inc. (NASDAQ: RAIL) (the "Company" or "FreightCar") announced today that it will hold its annual general meeting of shareholders (the "AGM") at 10:00 am (Central Time) on April 10, 2026. The AGM will be held in virtual format only, via live webcast on the Internet, with no physical, in-person meeting. The record date for determining shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the AGM will be the close of business on February 10, 2026.
