RFP: The Paul J. and Jolanda M. Penczner Endowment Fund
APPLICATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 7, 2026, 5:00 pm CT
Applications are now open for the Paul J. and Jolanda M. Penczner Research Endowment Fund, which supports advanced biomedical research aimed at generating preliminary data for a new NIH or similar extramural grant application.
The award is open to full-time UT Health Sciences College of Medicine faculty working in basic life and medical sciences, and provides $100,000 for a one-year funding period to a single recipient.
Applicants must submit a single PDF via the InfoReady portal, including an NIH Biosketch-style CV, a Specific Aims page, a workplan outlining the project's premise, experimental design, timeline, and intended grant submission date, and an itemized budget.
The award will be announced September 1, 2026.
