In partnership with the Garden Grove Unified School District, the Garden Grove Sanitary District (Sanitary District) will provide additional waste collection sites throughout the service area. Due to ngoing labor-related demonstrations waste collection remains delayed.
Residential and commercial customers within the Sanitary District may utilize these free, temporary sites for solid waste. The Sanitary District has issued the following trash collection site guidelines:
A map of Garden Grove Sanitary District Waste Collection Sites is available at ggcity.org/pw/trash-recycling.
Republic Services will also accept items at the CVT Disposal Center, 2740 E. Coronado St., with proof of residency or business ownership. The drop-off location will be available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. For questions, please contact Republic Services directly at (714) 238-3300.
We understand the frustration of the delay in service, and we appreciate your patience. Residents may leave their carts at the curb until service occurs.
The City will continue to share new information as it becomes available. For updates, visit ggcity.org/pw/trash-recycling or download the Garden Grove App and allow notifications.
